Pim is the only remaining girl without an FCO. Will this episode be her time to shine? Or has her time run out? Let’s find out:

The alumni mentors say their goodbyes to their teams.

Please support each other and be your own mentors. — Monika

Cindy Mail: time to be bold. Sounds like it’s Subaru time! And then we see Cindy (or her stunt double, I wouldn’t know for sure) popping out of a window on a Subaru XV doing a crazy stunt. We still have Subaru XV stunt driver Russ Swift this cycle. Oh, we’re going straight to photo shoot.

Photo shoot: Go For Bold

The girls have to stand on a Subaru XV tilted on its side. The car won’t be moving, but it’s still safety first because they’ll be wearing harnesses. Glenn Tan gives a pep talk to the girls while in hair and makeup. The girls are all styled with crazy Mad Max-esque hair and really bold eyes. Joel Lim is back from the past cycles as the photographer.

Pim: I hope I got [the shot]!

Cindy: I hope so too.

Hmm 🧐 😂

Fashion Film for Subaru

The girls are shooting a fashion film set to the music of Vietnamese singer and actress Ho Ngoc Ha. They will be the powerful heroine in their own stories.

Deliberation

Panel: Cindy, Yu Tsai, Glenn Tan and Ho Ngoc Ha. The winner will win a Subaru xv, Harper’s Bazaar Thailand cover, an avatar in the ANTM mobile game, and a Storm Models contract in London.

Mia: Glenn likes that she made great use of the car. Cindy doesn’t like that it’s a little bit too kung fu. Yu Tsai seems to like her better in the fashion film.

Pim: A little too static, because he other shots look like she’s like a campy superhero, but Cindy really loves the face.

Beauty: Ho Ngoc Ha thinks she owns the shot. Glenn feels like she looks super scared in the photo, like it’s her first time on a surfboard. Yu Tsai actually likes that “surfboard” story that Glenn mentioned and thinks that means Beauty can tell a story in her photo. 🤷

Adela: Cindy and Ho Ngoc Ha likes that she shows strength but needs to show more personality.

Dana: Cindy says she was the most poised out of all the girls, but she cannot shake off her sleepy eyes look. Yu Tsai loves it.

2 girls will be eliminated. 🙀 The FCO will win a Subaru brand ambassadorship.

👑 FCO: Mia

⚠ Bottom 3: Pim, Beauty, Adela

❌ Eliminated: Pim & Beauty

So I guess the Asian beauty trend that they had for the first few cycles is now over. It’s the era of the half-Asian beauty now. 💁

  1. I thought Mia will not be a Subaru brand ambassador due to his commercial with a rival brand.

    1. What commercial? Link pls. 😀

  2. This is the Next Top Model franchise with the least number of episodes.

  3. Youva says:

This is the worst season ever. Mentors worthy enough was Tu, judges were boring as hell, and themewise is actually pretty exciting but the executions of the photoshoots sux big time.
