Last week, I asked you who you think should’ve gotten FCO for the Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 Episode 2 photo shoot, and here are the results…

Congratulations again, Jachin! 🏆 Amiciness readers think you should’ve been the FCO for Episode 2. 🙌

Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 Episode 2 Review + Amiciness Picks

Jesslyn is crying and feels guilty at Iko being eliminated, both representing the same country. Beauty misses Iko because she has received so much support from her. The remaining 5 girls in the Loud Girls room feel more like a family with Mia not around.

*Cue opening titles*

Shikin is so happy at Jachin’s FCO. Jachin thinks she needs to be consistent. Monika’s team didn’t do so well. Jesslyn honestly thinks that Iko’s photo was better and that she herself deserved to go home. Monika wants her girls to be strong. Tu is disappointed and super stressed with Han not performing too well. Han is losing confidence in her ability to stay in the competition.

The alumni mentors introduce Cycle 5 winner and Subaru brand ambassador Maureen Wroblewitz.

Challenge: Instagram for Subaru XV

The girls work in teams to take Instagram photos in 3 different locations to represent the Subaru brand. The girls will be scored on their speed and how much the photos showcase the Subaru brand. The teams:

  • Jesslyn, Mia, Han, Adela
  • Dana, Rubini, Beauty
  • Pim, Jachin, Thanh Vy

Pim is fully using her ability to speak Thai to her team’s advantage.

Challenge Winner: Pim, Jachin, Thanh Vy

Thanh Vy faints from the extreme heat and stress, and is taken to the hospital. After the challenge scores are revealed, another Mia-Jesslyn drama. Honestly tired.

The challenge winners get a Thai dinner treat at Praya Kitchen.

The Subaru XV cars are getting as much screen time as the girls.

Photo shoot: Subaru XV with Dogs

The girls have to portray a sophisticated woman on the move with their Subaru XV. And they get to work with dogs! Shavonne Wong is the photographer this time. The girls have to take control of their dogs.

  1. Why Mia didn’t get as Subaru brand ambassador?

  2. Anonymous says:

So glad Jesslyn is gone. She should have been eliminated in episode 2. She was all tough talk and drama minus the goods to actually back it up despite her considerable experience. Also, it seems like she’s been spearheading the whole “Loud Girls” vs Mia drama coz’ of a misunderstanding that was taken out of proportion. Three episodes in and I was so over how all the other loud room girls would butt in and gang up on Mia. I’m not a particular fan of Mia’s, though I do think she is a lovely model, but I really think she’s been taken out of context just to create drama on the show.

  3. Creekers says:

Haven’t been watching the show since I’m too busy. But looking through the photos, I can say that the photoshoots have definitely improved compared to the last four seasons. I guess it was a good idea to cut the models with little potential earlier than have them eliminated just a bit later. That way, they can invest on better photoshoot concepts and locations.

It’s also nice that they cut them based on catwalks and not on photoshoots for LOTS of reasons.

    1. Adela- GORGEOUS. She’s moving with grace and I’m OBSESSED with the positioning of her left hand. It’s proper, careful and refined.

    2. Dana- Apparently this got bottom 2? Whatever. This pose is unexpected to me in all the right ways. This is how I expect Veronica to stroll around after witnessing Jason Dean blow up.

    3. Mia

    4. Thanh Vy- it looks like a good quality photo I would see on Instagram.

    5. Pim- She looks like she would be the privileged daughter of the car’s owner. Didn’t like this at first, but the simplicity and the feasibility of her pose grew on me.

    6. Rubini- I’m starting to give up on this girl, seems like she has the same “chin-up” pose every week. This was honestly a good shot, but we need to see some versatility fast or she’s gonna get the cut.

    7. Jesslyn- it’s okay, I guess. It’s also basically her best photo compared to her other shots.

    8. Jachin- it’s probably her right hand covering a portion of her body, because she looks comically thin on this one. The left leg is positioned awkwardly but I guess I liked the little uneven shoulder positions.

    9. Beauty- looks unfocused. VERY forgettable.

    10. Han- In contrast to Thanh Vy(idk how she’s called on the show lol), hers look like a straightforward photo I would expect to see on Facebook.
