To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the latest teen romantic comedy offering of Netflix based on a book of the same title. I’m not sure nor care how much it stayed true with it though. The basic premise is that high-schooler Lara Jean, who is notably Asian-American (woohoo!) writes secret unsent letters to boys she falls in love with. One of these boys is Peter Kavinsky. I’m sure you’ve already seen the name on Buzzfeed articles on your newsfeed, with the collective internet swooning over the guy. Yes, he is dreamy and he reminds me of Mark Ruffalo so we can’t really blame Lara Jean.

I was also excited to see Mona of Pretty Little Liars as Lara Jean’s sister Margot. Missed you Mona! The new Netflix movie is cute. It’s the type of movie you watch on a rainy holiday in your PJs while you eat ice cream subconsciously thinking about your exes.

Should you watch it? YES. Although I was a bit disappointed since the trailer promised five letters and five “boys she’s loved before” but we really didn’t get to see all of them. 😂

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before runs for 1 hour and 39 minutes on Netflix.
