I Want an ASUS Zenfone Max Plus!

ASUS Zenfone Max Plus

ASUS Zenfone Max Plus was officially launched last January 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium. Along with other tech-lovers and Zenfans, Amiciness was there to witness the unveiling of the Battery King of smartphones hosted by fitness coach and TV host, Vince Velasco.

Honestly, I didn’t expect to be swooned by the Zenfone Max Plus but I was. I love it! I would have bought one right then and there if only my finances allowed me to. (The queue was also long!) Anyway, let me tell you why I would buy the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus.

MAXimum Display

Personally, I like smartphones that are big. It’s easier to use especially when typing and browsing the web. Good thing, Zenfone Max Plus has an ultrawide 18:9 aspect ratio and an 80% screen-to-body ratio. This is also perfect for viewing photos and watching movies/videos. Netflix and chill anyone?

MAXimum Photos

As a frequent traveler, I need a phone that can take wide scenic photos without cropping out important details. With Zenfone Max Plus’ secondary 120 degree wide angle camera has a 200% wider field of view. Additional space for 2 to 3 more Chocolate hills, buildings on the Tokyo skyline, or relatives in a family reunion group photo.

Zenfone Max Plus also features and advanced dual-rear camera designed to take mobile photography to a new level. It has a 16 megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture lens to capture clearer pictures even if your subject is moving.

MAXimum Security

Not many phones have a face unlock feature. Zenfone Max Plus can detect your face to quickly unlock your phones. Alternatively, a strategically placed rear fingerprint sensor if you opt not to use the face detection. Convenient and secure!

MAXimum Stamina

Zenfone Max Plus offers us up to 26 hours on standby, 26 hours of 3G talk time and up to 21 hours of web browsing on wifi, or up to 13 hours of video playback. Wow! I imagine myself bringing it during one of my travels. I won’t need a heavy power bank and I won’t have to worry to be low-battery ever again.

Its 4,130mAh battery also allows the Zenfone Max Plus to transform into a power bank and charge other devices provided you have the Micro-USB cable.

All these features for a modest price of Php 11,995. I actually visited the ASUS concept store just today in SM Megamall and discovered that the Zenfone Max Plus is also available for installment payments of up to 6 months for select credit cards. Hmm… it made me think.

I am 90% sure that I will get my own ASUS Zenfone Max Plus in the next months. My phone is really slowing down and easily drained. It’s really getting in the way of my productivity. Ugh. It’s time to switch to a more practical yet powerful smartphone.

Have you tried ASUS Zenfone Max Plus? Did you like it? What are the Zenfone Max Plus features you like the most?
