Asia’s Next Top Model is on its 3rd cycle this year. This week we got a teaser for this cycle, and now we know that it’s premiering this March. Save the date: March 25 on Star World!

1. Nadya Hutagalung out, Georgina Wilson in, with new judging panel
Late last year, we got this tweet from AsNTM host and supermodel, Nadya Hutagalung:

A few months later, the official Twitter account of Star World Asia unveiled AsNTM’s new host is Filipina celebrity “it girl” Georgina Wilson!
Joining Georgina on the panel, we still have supermodel Joey Mead King, and new addition, Aussie designer Alex Perry. The latter guest-judged last cycle in a photoshoot where the girls modeled his collection.
2. Back in Singapore
This cycle we go back to Singapore, where the show held its first cycle. We also have a sneak peek at the new judging room:

Just look at it! It already looks a lot better, sleeker, and more stylish than last cycle’s.
3. The contestants!
The cast has leaked in some forums (hi RTVG!) since late last year. But now that we have an official cast picture, I think it’s safe to reveal this cycle’s 14 (rumored) models (L-R from top left):

In summary, we have three (3!) representatives each for Indonesia and Philippines, 2 for Malaysia, and 1 each for the other countries. China, India, Korea, Nepal, and Taiwan are no-shows this cycle. Cue the flood of social media posts claiming injustice LOL!
I, for one, am very excited for this cycle. I do hope that they get more runway challenges, and not just heavily focus on photo shoots.
